It is listed in Philippine Stock Exchange since September 26, 1988 with symbol code APM.
It was originally incorporated as a mining company in January 19, 1988 as Alcorn Petroleum & Minerals Corporation.
In January 19, 2000,under the approval of Securities & Exchange Commission, the company changed its corporate name from Alcorn Petroleum & Minerals Corporation to Alcorn Gold Resources Corporation and classified itself as a holding company that still has secondary purpose of oil & mineral exploration, development & production.
